Big Pine Key is located in Monroe County. If you purchase a home here you can use it as much as you like but rentals are restricted to 28 day minimum periods.
Big Pine has a post office, Winn Dixie grocery store, many restaurants and bars and some gift shops.
Being located at mile marker 28-37 you are about a 45 minute drive into Key West and approximately 40 minutes to Marathon.
The closest hospital would be the Lower Keys Medical Center.

Travel the No Name Key Bridge
This scenic bridge links No Name Key to Big Pine Key. It is a popular spot to take kids fishing. The evening sightseeing is also excellent for birds and Key deer.
If you're looking for an off-shore adventure, or amazing things to see that you wouldn’t typically be able to see, Big Pine is also the starting point for many snorkeling, fishing, diving, and dive charter adventurers to Looe Key reef.
